Hannah Nguyen21 August 2026Uemura Chiropractic is absolutely incredible, and Dr. Samiee is a lifesaver. The entire staff is professional and kind, but Dr. Samiee truly stands out. I first came in with terrifying symptoms—waking up with numbness down my left side and sciatica pain so severe I couldn't stand for 30 minutes. Dr. Lau started my care, but when he relocated, Dr. Samiee took over. I was a bit nervous to switch, but Dr. Samiee instantly put me at ease. He is incredibly caring, takes the time to listen, and made me feel comfortable right away. Best of all, he made me feel great after the very first adjustment. Today, my numbness is almost entirely gone and my sciatica is 75% improved. I actually look forward to my adjustments. Go see him if you have similar symptoms like mine. H K13 June 2026Highly recommend this place! This is one of the best chiropractor offices that I have been to. The office is calming and clean. Doctors are extremely professional and knowledgeable, and the staff are very nice and helpful! I started coming here to get treated after my car accident a few months ago. They are not only using traditional adjustments techniques but with advanced technology as well. They also teach and show me the exercises that I could continue to do at home to speed up my recovery and strengthen my body. Dr. Lau went through my treatment plan thoroughly on the first couple consultation visits. By the time I started my treatment, I had suffered from severe right shoulder pain for decades. Dr. Lau clearly explained to me multiple different times about the details of my treatment, including the equipments, frequency, and stretching techniques. I am currently at almost the end of my 3-month treatment. All my pains are gone. I no longer suffer from shortness of breath, foggy mind, and back stiffness. Even my allergies have relived a lot. I was able to run the Berlin Marathon in Germany pain free thanks to his help and guidance. I went in because I was experiencing side pain after my long run trainings. He did aome X-rays and found my whole neck, spine and hips were out of wack! Thankfully, he figured out a plan that gave created a plan that helped improve each area. He provided me with tools and directions to take home, so it wasn't just adjustments in the office. During the consultation, the X-ray showed my pelvis rotated, which has been ignored by my regular doctors, despite asking to take into account for treatments. Frustrated with my health insurance providers, I decided to start here 3 months ago and have had tremendous progress! Although my low back was my primary concern, the adjustments provided great relief in my neck and mid back. The other modalities used like decompression and EMTT were extremely helpful as well. What separates him from 2 other chiropractors I had in the past is he utilizes an initial xray of your spine. After 3 months, I got to review my post second xray and am delighted with the results. My back feel more loose and cracks occasionally when I turn. Before my back was so tense that was not the case. I started from coming 3 times a week for the first month. On the second month and third month, I came about twice a week. Each session of three adjustments took about 15-20 minutes total. The adjustments always kept me coming! The other service, “shock” therapy felt more like a rapid pulse and was slightly intense but you could always have the pressure less if it felt too much. The overall price is reasonable and I would continue coming for the maintenance period. The daily “homework” exercises took about 30-40 minutes at the peak but you start of with 2 or 3 minutes initially. The “homework” to maintain health has tapered to almost half. Them and their staff are so awesome, polite, and professional! I originally came in with concerns for neck and upper back pain. After my consultation, Dr. Leo provided me with a 3 month care plan to fix my WHOLE body and not just my problem areas. His goal was to correct my body long term and not just have short term relief. The X-ray revealed that my son's neck was clearly straight, indicating a condition called "straight neck." Dr. Leo suggested a 3-month treatment plan that included simple exercises to do every day, and he decided to proceed with the treatment. After starting the treatment, my son began to change his awareness of his posture, and after about two months, his posture had improved significantly. He also felt that his posture was getting better. Then, after three months, the results from the X-ray clearly showed that his neck had improved. The moment he touched my spine and neck, I could tell already he is experienced. When you go to a chiropractor, you definitely want someone very experienced because your neck and spine is on his experienced hands. I just finished a 3 month treatment. I had neck stiffness/straight neck, headache(on and off over a year) and curved spine. They had x-ray and initial exam for me and found out what the problems are. After about 1 month treatment, I felt most of the issues were gone already. Now after 3 month treatment, I have zero neck stiffness or headache which makes me feel so good. They just had another x-ray for me and proved that I did get improvement. There is a couple weeks that I had middle back pain I think I hurt myself from doing bridge at the yoga class. Dr Leo adjusted me and I walked out his office pain free. Like magic. They have 3 decompression machines which I think are very important to help with neck and spines. Almost every time I am there, there are patients on the machines. Of course, I am one of them. I am not sure if all chiropractors have decompression machines but I think having it is very essential to be a good chiropractor after I tried the decompression. Just within last month, I referred 3 friends to see Dr Leo and they started their treatment too. This is how confident I feel for Dr Leo. Their office is very bright and inviting. You won't feel stressed at all like going to some doctor office. To be honest, I really enjoy coming here every time just like going to visit a friend. Lastly, ALL their front desk staff are AWESOME!!!!! I think one lady is Reina, a young guy is Genta and a couple others who I can't remember the names. They are young, polite and very helpful. He is wonderful and my neck, shoulder, and spinal issues have greatly improved. Not only does he have great techhniques but he has machines he uses to enhance your quality of care. He has an X-ray machine so you can see what your issues are and find the best solution for you. Other offices do not have that and you have to either get one from your own doctor or either go without. He is amazing in adjusting my neck and back and I love the other machines he uses to enhance improvement. The office is very clean and the staff is very pleasant. I am glad I found this place. I couldn't touch my face without crying from the pain. I could barely sleep because if I accidentally rolled onto my right side, I'd wake up in agony. I saw 2 dentists, 2 ENTs, an orofacial pain specialist, a neurologist, my primary care doctor, and 2 other chiropractors. I had several X-rays, many CT scans, an MRI, a blood test, and countless physical exams. I got misdiagnosed with hemicrania continua and trigeminal neuralgia. 6 months later, I wasn't getting any better, and my quality of life was nonexistent. I couldn't work, I had no social life, and I couldn't think of any other possible doctors to get poked and prodded by. In March of 2023, I started visiting Dr. Leo's office. He was the only one who took a moving X-ray of my neck and back, and finally, I had a proper answer -- 5 out of 7 bones in my neck didn't move. Within a month, I started seeing SIGNIFICANT improvement, and now, about 7 months later, I'm almost fully recovered from a problem that took YEARS to develop. The headaches are minimal in intensity and short in duration, the facial numbness is gone, and the facial pain is mild when present (which is also, thankfully, rare). I'm not exaggerating when I say Dr. Leo literally changed my life. He's patient and attentive, and he changes his methods based on my feedback, which is something I appreciate. I scheduled a diagnostic evaluation exam. Dr. Leo took detailed X-rays and spent time explaining what he saw during the consultation and laying out a treatment program. Everything he said made sense, and the thought of being pain-free was hopeful! Three months later, I am happy to say my movement has improved, and I am 90% pain-free. I came in initially for some lower back pain. He asked about other problems I had and seemed concerned with them as well. Then recommended me a plan to help with my issues. Dr. Uemura has taught me different exercises to help with my range of motion and keep my posture in check. At the end of my treatments he helped me resolve multiple issues. I came in for one reason my lower back but left with left multiple issues with my body resolved; reduce the amount of migraines I had (used to have them regularly, and haven't had them since I started), my neck motion, fixed my shoulder muscle was moving irregular, and many other problems. Was about to get an surgery that would cost me fortune or get the Trigenics Frozen Shoulder Procedure done by paying $7000 plus cost of trip to Canada. I was willing to spend that much money to fix my shoulder because I was so miserable. So, to get approved to get the Trigenics Frozen Shoulder Procedure done, you have to send them an Xray. So I went to doctor Uemura and asked if they would help me. They did. They took the X-ray and didn't even pressure me to get any treatment done with them. When he took the X-ray for me, he treated my shoulder for about 30 mins just to check to see if it is an frozen shoulder. He didn't think it was a frozen shoulder and did some work on my shoulder. After I left, for over an week, I felt 60% better than I felt for the past year! I never felt so much better like I did in a long time. So.. after doing so much thinking, I tried his treatment again. I went back! I was at 70% better by the time I went back the 3rd time! The 2nd treatment was pretty rough.. I felt so much pain in my shoulder from trying to move in the area that has been stuck and frozen for an Year so I felt light headed and almost passed out few times... but after that hill, and the 3rd treatment, I was at 70% and right now I am at about 80%! I will continue to go back to get better and More! I will continue to go to him to align my body so I will never get to the point I am so under maintenance.. I am on my feet all day and play a lot of volleyball and after my injury it was painful to even walk and I was constantly having numbness in my feet and throbbing sensation in my buttox. Even though the program was supposed to be three months long 3x a week, I had vacations planned so I couldn't go every week and even had a 3 week hiatus from our sessions. But since probably about three months ago I can finally say I feel completely back to normal and pain free! Aside from the adjustments he also teaches you exercises to do at home and how to lift weights properly so you won't get injured in the future. Do you have issues with performing in sports? If you answer yes to any of these, then you need to visit Leo. Leo has been my go to chiropractor for over 10 years and I couldn't recommend him enough. Over that time, Leo has fixed all of my aches and pains from years of sports and random body aches. His knowledge of how the body should properly move and flow is mind blowing. For example, he can push, poke, or squeeze a spot on my neck or back and know right away where I’m misaligned or hurting. After a quick assessment he gets me adjusted and I’m back to feeling loose and relaxed again. One could say that’s only because I’ve gone to him for so long that it would be easy for him to know where I would hurt. Well, within the last 2 years I’ve dragged my wife (non believer in the magic a chiropractor can do) in to see him for her pains and now Leo is her go to if anything hurts for her. His approach to treatment was multi-modal including chiro adjustments, active release technique. Newbie machine, functional exercise and a home thoracic spine stretch device. With aggressive 3 month treatment, my pain is much better, I can sleep pain free, and my repeat x-rays show improvements. Tried some stretching on my own but no improvement. Came to see Dr Leo Uemura and after the initial exam and x-rays of my spine he started me on a 3 month program. Office visits 3 times a week and a regimen of exercises. The sharp pain went away in the first 2 weeks. Hallelujah! The office visits included adjustments, cervical stretching and stretching exercises during electrical stimulus of muscles. Dr Uemura had 2 goals for me, one to relieve the pain and to improve my posture to keep it away. Success on both after the sessions. He explains what is wrong and how he is going to help you. He is the second Active Release Technique (ART) chiropractor I went to, but one of the best. He understands the body very well and will listen to your issues and concerns before he starts to figure out the problem and how to effectively treat it. Leo has helped me a lot of over time with many of my knee/hip issues. I was even able to regain most of my range of motion after multiple knee and hip surgeries with his help.
